How long does a full damage scan take?
The guided 8-position scan typically completes in under two minutes, including AI classification and the structured report. Preliminary classification results appear during the capture itself.
Does Skanvio work without an internet connection?
Yes. Skanvio has an offline mode that stores captures locally on the device. As soon as connectivity is restored, the data is uploaded and analysed automatically.
Where are images and reports stored?
All data resides in MQTec GmbH data centres in Germany. There is no transfer to third countries without explicit reason, and processing follows GDPR requirements.
In which formats can I export reports?
Reports are available as structured PDF and as JSON. That makes it straightforward to feed downstream accounting, claims management, and insurer workflows.
How accurate is the AI classification?
Each detected damage is tagged with a type, severity, and a confidence score. The result pre-structures the report; a manual review on screen is usually a matter of seconds.
